Job Overview

As a seasoned software professional, you will be responsible for designing and delivering trusted technology solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.

This role involves working as a member of an agile team to create innovative software products that meet the firm's business objectives.

  • Execute software solutions by designing, developing, and troubleshooting technical issues with the ability to think beyond routine approaches.
  • Develop secure and high-quality production code while maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met.
  • Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets to improve software applications and systems.
  • Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities and events that explore new technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Jest.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and solid understanding of agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Java is a plus.
  • Experience in front-office capital markets/investment management applications is desired.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies is beneficial.
