We are seeking an experienced and qualified Assistant Professor for our Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, or related areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research, and serving the Institution for academic, institutional, and student's growth and development.

  • To develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or related areas.
  • Proven experience in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in AI or related areas, with a commitment to innovative pedagogical approaches.
  • Have an ability to stay abreast on the latest emerging trends and technologies in AI such as reinforcement learning, generative models, or ethical AI.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the field of AI through continuous learning, attending conferences, and networking with peers.
  • Proven experience with software development and programming languages commonly used in AI research, such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools.
  • Makes best use of technology in teaching learning methodology.
  • Proven experience of excellent delivery of the subject for the students by active or activity based learning, real-life problem solving approaches in content delivery and achieve the best results / awards / positions in the university.
  • Fulfills responsibility concerning students in respect of instruction, progress, and examination.
  • Meaningly engages students in class, seminars, workshops, conferences, events, applied subject knowledge projects.
  • Conducts cutting-edge research in AI, publishes findings in reputable journals and conferences, and pursues external funding to support research activities.
  • Supervises and mentors graduate students, providing guidance and support in their research endeavours.
  • Collaborates with industry partners to apply AI techniques to real-world problems and foster technology transfer.
  • Secures external research funding and leads research projects independently or collaboratively.
  • Works with interdisciplinary research teams or collaborates across departments.
  • Connects industry with academia for providing hands-on experience leading to skill development of students.
