Job Role: As a key member of our analytics team, the Data Insights Specialist will leverage Business Intelligence tools to create impactful insights that inform decision-making and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data analysis methodologies and experience in BI platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights into key business performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, interpret, and utilize data to influence business decisions.
  • Perform data extraction, cleaning, and analysis using SQL and other data manipulation languages.
  • Create visualizations that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for data security and quality.
  • Assist in the development and deployment of data models and databases.
  • Continuously improve existing BI systems and processes by conducting regular system assessments and implementing new technologies as needed.
  • Provide training and support to business users to enhance their understanding of BI tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a data analyst or in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure is desirable.
