Automation Test Specialist

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, develop and maintain automation frameworks that validate and optimize SD-WAN functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automated test scripts and frameworks for SD-WAN features.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand forwarding feature requirements and translate them into automation scenarios.
  • Creation of planned automated tests covering forwarding plane functionality including policy, path selection, and traffic-based measurements.
  • Analyze automation results, identify defects, and deliver detailed reports with recommendations.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, GitHub, and Jenkins.
  • Support defect reproduction and triaging, focusing on automation-related issues.
  • Document test plans, automation frameworks, procedures, and results for knowledge transfer.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance test automation efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in test automation for networking solutions.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and scripting languages (YAML, JSON, C).
  • Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and automated deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with automation test frameworks (vTest, pyATS).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts like routing and switching.
