Project Engineer - Electronic Interlocking Systems

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role involves the installation, testing, and commissioning of electronic interlocking railway signaling systems, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, RDSO standards, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Site survey and Installation supervision for the electronic interlocking system.
  • Prepare the bill of quantities for project-specific materials and raise requests for shortages to the office.
  • Perform customer factory testing using simulation software and site acceptance testing is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in power calculations for system design is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel to sites in various parts of the country.
  • Ability to function independently and in a team environment.
  • Takes initiative, has a can-do attitude, eager to learn, and exhibits passion and excitement towards work.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering or a related field. Diploma preferred in electronics or electrical engineering along with electronic interlocking project engineering.
  • 3 years of experience in railway signaling projects or similar roles.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with electronic interlocking systems, track circuits, point machines, axle counters, data logger, and railway signaling.
  • Knowledge of signaling interlocking plans, TCs, RCCs, interface circuits, and application logic of EI systems.
  • Understanding of the design and execution concepts of railway signaling principles.
  • Knowledge of signaling design tools and software.
  • Knowledge on quality concepts and EHS requirements.
  • Knowledge in MS Office tools such as MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Certifications: Preferred IRSE Licensing or equivalent.
