Senior Interior Designer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead and manage our design studio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects.

A senior interior designer will be responsible for developing creative and functional interior solutions, managing the end-to-end design process, and collaborating with project managers and vendors to ensure seamless execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing creative and functional interior solutions
  • Managing the end-to-end design process from concept development to final execution
  • Collaborating with project managers and vendors to ensure seamless execution
  • Communicating design intent clearly to clients and handling client presentations
  • Staying updated with latest design trends, materials, and technologies
  • Mentoring and guiding junior designers to build a strong design culture within the company
  • Overseeing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and timelines

Requirements for this role include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
  • 7+ years of professional experience in interior design, with at least 2+ years in a leadership/managerial role
  • Strong expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop (or similar design tools)
  • Proven portfolio of executed residential and/or commercial interior projects
  • Strong project management, leadership, and client communication skills
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects
