Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the medical device turnaround process at our facility. The role involves device disinfection, basic electronics checks, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to ensure every device is ready for safe redeployment.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on skills in basic electronics troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, with a strong understanding of electronic devices and medical equipment.

The selected individual will be responsible for performing disinfection and cleaning of medical devices according to standard operating procedures, inspecting devices for functional issues after patient usage, replacing components and consumable parts where needed, conducting routine quality control checks, and maintaining calibration logs.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to diagnose control unit electronics issues, perform minor repairs, coordinate with the R&D team for advanced repairs or escalations, perform software/firmware updates if required, and provide basic usage training to nursing staff or caregivers when deploying devices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess:

  • B.Tech/Diploma/ITI in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 1–3 years of experience in servicing medical equipment (e.g., infusion pumps, suction machines, ventilators, patient monitors).
  • Technical aptitude in electronic devices & medical equipment.
  • Good communication skills for hospital coordination.
  • Ability to maintain accurate service documentation.
