About the Role

This contract remote position is for an experienced Sage Intacct Specialist with expertise in designing and configuring the Intacct platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Sage Intacct software, creating and managing workflows, chart of accounts & transaction definitions.
  • Provide support for financial/accounting operations and troubleshoot system issues related to Intacct.
  • Orientate integration and reporting requirements for various applications and connection points.
  • Work with development teams to fix technical issues for existing functionality and build new integrations.
  • Document business problems and research technical solutions.
  • Analyze business and technical specifications for development teams.
  • Define project schedules, timelines, and deadlines, then discuss with business and development teams.
  • Oversee the entire development life cycle, track progress, and milestones.
  • Test and validate final products.
  • Lead meetings and present to large groups.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years with Sage Intacct.
  • 5+ years in a Sage design, configuration, and implementation role.
  • 8+ years in accounting specialist roles.
  • Experience working with Enterprise applications (HR, ERP, CRM).
  • Integration development experience using platforms like Tray.io or Zapier.
  • Sage Intacct software management and support skills.
  • Financial operations experience.
  • System troubleshooting and optimization skills.
  • Reporting & Analytics proficiency.
  • Software development knowledge.
  • IT governance and project delivery expertise.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related fields.
