Investment Research Analyst Intern

We are seeking a detail-oriented Investment Research Analyst Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in investment research and financial analysis, working closely with experienced analysts to support stock analysis and investment decisions.

  • Perform fundamental analysis of companies to assess investment potential and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to project company performance and valuations, utilizing data analysis and critical thinking skills.
  • Analyze stocks, monitor market trends, and provide insights for investment strategies, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Write concise research reports, create presentations, and summarize findings for internal use, showcasing expertise in investment research.
  • Prepare clear and accurate documentation to support research and investment processes, ensuring compliance and transparency.
  • Use advanced Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting, applying technical skills to drive business outcomes.
  • Assist in tracking portfolio performance and preparing updates, contributing to the success of the team.
Requirements:
  • Actively pursuing CFA Level I/II/III and recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques (e.g., DCF, comparables), with a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of fundamental analysis and ability to interpret financial statements, providing actionable insights.
  • Ability to analyze stocks, draft research reports, and prepare professional presentations, communicating complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong documentation skills with attention to detail, maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with MS PowerPoint and Word, leveraging technology to drive results.
  • Basic understanding of capital markets and investment concepts, staying current with industry trends.
  • Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn about investment research, embracing challenges and opportunities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, collaborating effectively with the team.
