Job Title: Java Cloud Native Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Cloud Native Software Engineer to join our team at Hexaware Technologies. As a Java Cloud Native Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications using Java and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cloud-native applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to identify and implement best practices for cloud-native development.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code is delivered.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud-native development.

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of strong software development experience.
  • 4+ years of object-oriented design and programming skills building backend applications using Java Spring Framework Spring Boot REST JPA Microservices and RDBMS.
  • Exposure to unit testing using JUnit Mockito or similar.
  • Experience in CICD processes using tools like Git SonarQube Jenkins or similar.
  • Preferably 2+ years of experience in Cloud Platform Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in RESTful services using various troubleshooting and debugging tools.
  • Proven ability to define and implement effective software development methodologies.
  • Ability to start the project from scratch using above technology stack.
  • A cloud certification is a plus.
  • Experience in development of mid/large scale projects in a collaborative environment.
