Job Role:

The Credit Management Director oversees and coordinates the process of managing credits, ensuring timely payment of invoices, minimizing credit risk, and maintaining a healthy cash flow while supporting business expansion and customer relationships.

Main Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Governance: Lead and direct a team of experienced credit managers across headquarters and regional offices. Develop and implement effective credit management strategies to manage divisional credit exposure.
  • Cash Flow & Financial Planning: Collaborate with the finance department to ensure a smooth cash flow for the division, while driving return on capital employed (ROCE) and working capital optimization, receivables forecasting accuracy, and reduction in days sales outstanding (DSO).
  • Reporting & Analysis: Define and maintain performance dashboards and reports for leadership, regional sales managers, and zonal sales managers to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Publish relevant reports and factsheets as per leadership requirements, including collection performance summaries, aging analysis, and exception reports.
  • Operational Oversight: Mentor and support the credit evaluation and control team in managing day-to-day activities using accounts receivable solutions. Expedite collection of doubtful debts through a defined escalation workflow and timely exception handling.
