Lead Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Test Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test scripts for web/UI applications using Selenium with Java or C#. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and at least 3 years of experience in Test Automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web/UI applications using Selenium with Java or C#
  • Work with Test Automation Frameworks and Tools, including Selenium Webdriver, TestNg/Junit, Cucumber, Maven/Gradle, POM, and other similar tools
  • Code in Java/Javascript/C#/Python and work with test management tools like Test Rail, Jira, or similar tools
  • Have good knowledge of integration testing, Rest/SOA APIs using Postman/Jmeter, and Object-oriented Programming Concepts
  • Implement manual testing concepts, test case writing, STLC, and SDLC
  • Exposure to SCM and CI/CD tools such as Git, Svn, Gitlab, Jenkins, Agile, Scrum methodologies, DevOps, and continuous testing practices

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • At least 3 years of experience in Test Automation
  • Strong experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts
  • Experience with Test Automation Frameworks and Tools
  • Good knowledge of integration testing and Rest/SOA APIs
  • Good knowledge of Object-oriented Programming Concepts
  • Positive outlook, problem-solving attitude, adaptability to change, and ability to learn new tools and technologies

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in API Test Automation using Rest Assured, Rest Sharp, or similar tools
  • Experience in Mobile Test Automation using Appium
  • Experience in using BrowserStack tool
