Job Title: Audit Manager

Department: Audit & Assurance

Reporting To: Partner

As a seasoned professional, you will manage multiple teams and team leads in statutory audits. With 4–6 years of experience, you will lead large audit teams across multiple verticals and timelines, ensuring audits close with accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

About the Role

We require an experienced Audit Manager to oversee end-to-end audit engagements from planning through final reporting, including management discussions.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Audit Execution: Lead statutory audits from planning through final reporting, including management discussions.
  • Multi-Team Management: Handle multiple teams under multiple team leads; responsible for staffing, training, and performance reviews.
  • Compliance & Technical Accuracy: Ensure alignment with auditing standards (SA 200 series onwards).
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with tax, finance, and legal teams to identify control gaps and compliance issues.
  • Client Management: Own client relationships; act as the single point of contact for escalations, walkthroughs, and closure.
  • Risk-Based Auditing: Apply risk assessment methodology to focus audit effort on high-impact areas.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Tech-Driven Approach: Leverage audit tools and digital documentation systems to improve turnaround time and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-6 years of statutory audit experience, preferably in audit firms.
  • Independent Operator: Must have a proven track record of independently closing audits without supervision.
  • Subject Matter Expert: In-depth knowledge of financial statement preparation & review, auditing standards, and applicable laws.
  • Strong Legal Acumen: Working knowledge of allied laws and regulations.
  • Deadline-Oriented: High accountability, thrives under pressure, and delivers audits on time.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong articulation for client presentations, board reporting, and team guidance.
