About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Professor - Visual Storytelling to join our team at Apeejay Stya University. As an Assistant Professor-Photography and Videography, you will be responsible for teaching students via classroom instruction, directing projects, and guiding them in their research and internships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative approaches to learning and teaching, as appropriate.
  • Provide photography and videography support to each school and University events.
  • Actively participate in providing content for ASU's Social Media platforms.
  • Design new curricula and courses as required.
  • Implement career-enhancement programs and activities.
  • Review, evaluate, and supervise academic progress of students.
  • Timely monitor and observe student attendance and assessments.
  • Ensure skill-based teaching in documentary making and supervise project work.
  • Support senior professors/Deans in their day-to-day tasks and functions/academic administration.

Requirements:

  • A Ph.D or National Eligibility Test (NET) clearance from UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by UGC.
  • MA with 55% marks from an Indian University or equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Experience:

  • At least three years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution/industry.
  • Industry experience is beneficial.

Salary Range: We offer a competitive salary package, which we discuss during the interview process. The exact figure is based on your qualifications, experience, and performance. Our average salary range for this role is between ₹25 lakhs to ₹40 lakhs per annum.
