Scaffolding Expert

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years' experience in the Oil & Gas Field with similar experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure thorough knowledge and understanding of scaffolding scope of work.
• Maintain accurate documentation for progress monitoring of scaffolding tagging.
• Have sound knowledge about scaffolding type, material, and erection procedures for different elevations.
• Be responsible for scaffold inspection, maintenance, and registration.
• Inspect scaffolds before each work period or where a scaffold has been altered, adjusted, or subjected to rain or heavy winds.
• Be responsible for the tagging system.
• Inspect the area where a scaffold is to be positioned and appoint a competent scaffolder for maintenance works on scaffold and staging.
• Evaluate HSE Risk Assessment and conduct toolbox discussions prior to work involving working at heights.
• Work with Scaffolding Inspector to certify all types of scaffolding for use, apply tags, and recommend changes as required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).
