The AI Platform Team is focused on building centralized AI infrastructure and acceleration solutions that drive productivity, innovation, and customer impact across the organization. As a Software Engineer on our team, you'll work with state-of-the-art AI models, frameworks, and tools to develop high-quality software that meets the highest standards of excellence.

Job Description:
  • Hands-on Architecture & Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI infrastructure platforms for all Large Language Model (LLM) use-cases within Coinbase.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of highly competent engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure they excel in their roles.
  • Strategic Roadmap: Collaborate with management and stakeholders to define and implement strategic roadmaps that align with business objectives.
  • Project Management: Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, leveraging technical expertise to drive results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ Years of Experience: In software engineering, with a strong background in AI, machine learning, and cloud computing.
  • Engineering Management: At least 2+ years of experience in leading teams of engineers, with a proven track record of success.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of AI, machine learning, and cloud computing, with expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and compliant platforms.
