Senior Property Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our organization in Ahmedabad. This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

  2. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including timely processing of invoices and payments.

  3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support financial planning.

  4. General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

  5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards specific to the real estate industry.

  6. Property Management Support: Collaborate with property management teams to provide financial insights and support for property operations.

  7. Software Utilization: Effectively use US/UK accounting software to manage financial data and generate reports.

Requirements:

  • Education:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience:- 5+ year of accounting experience in the real estate industry.

  • Software Skills: Proficiency with US/UK accounting software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata).

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate meaningful reports.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of accounting work.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of real estate accounting.

  • Experience with property management software.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
