Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Firewalls Security Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting firewalls. They should be able to manage firewall rules, NAT policies, VPN tunnels, and access control lists (ACLs) to ensure secure connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Firewall Configuration and Maintenance: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Check Point, etc.).
  • Rule Management: Manage firewall rules, NAT policies, VPN tunnels, and access control lists (ACLs) to ensure secure connectivity.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Monitor firewall logs and alerts for potential threats, anomalies, or misconfigurations.
  • Auditing and Analysis: Review and analyze firewall change requests to ensure alignment with security policies.
  • Security Audits: Conduct regular firewall audits and rule cleanup to improve efficiency and reduce attack surfaces.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with network, security, and compliance teams on projects and incident response.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation of firewall configurations, policies, and change histories.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a firewall or network security administrator.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with one or more firewall platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet FortiGate, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Check Point, or Juniper SRX.
  • Theoretical Knowledge: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, subnetting, NAT, and VPNs (IPSec/SSL).
  • Soft Skills: Familiarity with IDS/IPS, proxy servers, and next-generation firewall (NGFW) features.
  • Policy Management: Proficient in security policy management and firewall rule lifecycle.
  • Log Analysis: Experience with log analysis and SIEM tools for security monitoring.
Desirable Skills and Certifications:
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PCNSE (Palo Alto), Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNP Security, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, CISSP, or CEH.
  • Programming Skills: Scripting or automation experience with Python, Ansible, or Bash.
  • Cloud Experience: Exposure to cloud firewalls in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Compliance Frameworks: Understanding of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or NIST.
