SAP Business Technology Platform Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of developing and deploying applications on BTP using the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM).

The successful candidate will work closely with our functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design, develop, and implement scalable solutions. They will also ensure application performance, scalability, and security.

To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on expertise in building applications on BTP, integrating with SAP S/4 HANA, and delivering end-to-end solutions. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities, are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement applications on SAP BTP using CAPM.
  • Work with Node.js, Java, OData, and CDS models to create scalable solutions.
  • Integrate BTP applications with SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Fiori, and other SAP systems.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Support deployment, testing, and production activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP BTP application development.
  • Strong expertise in SAP CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model).
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js/Java, OData services, CDS views.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integration.
  • Experience in cloud-based deployments, APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
  • SAP certifications in BTP or CAPM.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud services.
  • Exposure to multi-tenant applications and event-driven architectures.
