Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Specialist to join our team. As a CAD Design Specialist, you will be responsible for creating detailed design layouts for solar power plants using AutoCAD.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in CAD design and drafting, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs on time.

Mission Objectives:

  • To prepare preliminary and detailed solar PV layouts for ground-mounted solar PV systems and other electrical equipment.
  • To design array layouts, stringing layouts, cable routing and trench layouts, road layouts, and electrical layouts for ICR, MCR, substations, street lighting, and lightning arresters.
  • To create multiple BOQ/BOMs for the overall plant/project (pre-bid/post-bid) and compare them for project coordination with other team members' inputs.
  • To design infrastructural layout drawings for solar power plants, including module cleaning systems, internal roads, drains, and boundaries.
  • To proficiently draft RCC foundations for PV areas and substations, such as MCR buildings, power/inverter transformer foundations, equipment foundations in substations, and module-mounted structures.
  • To prepare detail drawings of cable trenches and sump pits in solar power plants.
  • To maintain CAD templates and libraries of engineering drawings up to the latest revision level.
  • To coordinate with project teams and engineering teams on all technical aspects of each project to update/make changes to correspondence drawings.
  • To prepare contour maps using Google Earth and AutoCAD Civil 3D with desired spot levels and line intervals.
  • To develop SOPs and checklists for methodologies followed for various processes.
  • To coordinate with internal and external team members on multiple projects.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Strong technical skills in CAD design and drafting, preferably with experience in AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
