Electrical Systems Modeler

The role of Electrical BIM Specialist entails the creation, management, and coordination of 3D electrical models utilizing Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and manage 3D electrical models using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
- Create electrical layouts, schematics, conduit/tray routing, panel schedules, and lighting and ELV systems.
- Prepare electrical circuit layouts, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Ensure clash detection and resolution by coordinating with other MEP disciplines.
- Generate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and installation drawings based on design models.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors for BIM execution and coordination.
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in BIM electrical modeling for MEP projects.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360, Di-Roots, Dynamo.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and cable routing.
- Experience with clash detection, coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Level of Development (LOD) requirements.
Immediate joiners or those with a notice period of 15 days are preferred. The ideal candidate will be a skilled professional with a strong understanding of BIM electrical modeling and excellent communication skills.
