Job Description:

  • Design and Technical Support
    • Collaborate with architects and interior designers to translate design concepts into feasible structural solutions, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
    • Prepare and review technical documents, BOQs, and structural drawings to guarantee accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
    • Verify adherence to building codes, IS standards, and local regulations to maintain project integrity and mitigate risks.
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Assist in preparing comprehensive project schedules, resource allocation plans, and cost estimates to optimize project execution and minimize delays.
    • Coordinate with design, PMC, and contracting teams to facilitate a smooth workflow, ensure effective communication, and resolve issues promptly.
    • Evaluate technical aspects to support tendering and contractor selection, ensuring the best possible outcome for the project.
  • Site Supervision and Execution
    • Oversee site works to ensure design intent, quality standards, and safety protocols are met, resulting in high-quality construction outcomes.
    • Monitor contractors and labor teams to ensure timely completion, adhere to approved specifications, and prevent unnecessary costs.
    • Verify material usage and workmanship to prevent waste, optimize resources, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Implement quality control procedures for construction materials to maintain high standards, reduce errors, and enhance overall project quality.
    • Ensure safety practices are followed at construction sites, protecting personnel, equipment, and the surrounding environment.
    • Conduct regular inspections and provide site progress reports to management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Quantity and Cost Control
    • Prepare and verify material quantities for procurement to avoid overstocking or understocking, ensuring accurate costing and efficient resource utilization.
    • Check contractor bills and certify measurements for accurate payment processing, preventing discrepancies and ensuring transparency.
    • Control wastage and optimize material use to reduce costs, minimize environmental impact, and promote sustainable construction practices.
  • Client and Team Communication
    • Assist in explaining technical details to clients, coordinating with architects to ensure understanding and satisfaction, and providing excellent customer service.
    • Act as a bridge between office design team and on-site execution team to facilitate effective communication, streamline processes, and enhance collaboration.
    • Attend review meetings and provide technical inputs to inform decision-making, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and working towards the same objectives.
