Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical risk consultant to join our team in this key role.

The ideal candidate has strong financial acumen and expertise in data analysis with the ability to apply statistical methods to enhance decision-making processes.

You will work closely with various departments to ensure risk management strategies align with business objectives.

Risk Management Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk analysis to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within the organization.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and data modeling techniques to inform decision-making processes.
  • Engage in negotiation processes to mitigate risks associated with financial transactions.
  • Perform data mining and collection to support fraud prevention and detection initiatives.
  • Develop financial models and conduct cash flow analysis to assess the financial health of projects or investments.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams to evaluate credit risks associated with lending activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, including credit analysis, underwriting, and banking principles.
  • Proficiency in quantitative research methods and financial modeling techniques.
  • Experience with data collection, statistical analysis, and risk analysis methodologies.
  • Familiarity with VBA and financial software tools is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective report writing and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decisions effectively.
