Job Title: Principal Backend Software Developer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and optimize server-side functionality to ensure seamless integration with front-end elements.

  • Analyze complex performance issues and implement architectural solutions to improve application scalability.
  • Integrate various data storage solutions to meet business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of PHP web frameworks (e.g., Laravel) and database management systems.
  • Familiarity with synchronous programming in PHP.
  • Knowledge of the Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Proficient object-oriented programming skills in PHP.
  • Awareness of accessibility and security compliance guidelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of common PHP or web server vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
  • Understanding of fundamental principles behind designing scalable applications.
  • Experience with user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments.
  • Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into a single system.
  • Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.
  • Expertise in creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
