Job Role

This key role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain functions. The job entails production planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Production Planning & Scheduling: Align material availability with the production plan. Collaborate with teams for demand forecasting and capacity planning. Monitor daily and weekly production plans.
  • Procurement & Supplier Coordination: Ensure timely procurement of raw materials and consumables. Coordinate with vendors to track purchase orders and delivery timelines.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels. Monitor stock ageing and initiate timely disposal or consumption plans.
  • Warehousing & Logistics: Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure OTIF deliveries. Manage warehouse operations and storage safety.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify initiatives to reduce logistics and procurement costs. Drive process improvements using lean methodologies.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with EHS norms and statutory regulations. Conduct regular training and audits.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team. Foster collaboration and continuous improvement mindset.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate in Engineering / Science / Commerce (MBA or PG in Supply Chain preferred)
  • Strong understanding of production planning, MRP, logistics, and warehousing practices
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
