Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Azure-first architect to own the Microsoft stack end-to-end for our pilot project.

This individual will be responsible for standing up data ingestion using Fabric Dataflows Gen2 or ADF, partnering with our AI Builder to expose curated datasets, implementing RLS, semantic models, and DAX measures, building Power BI pages, and configuring security & governance.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Azure + Power Platform stack, including Fabric/ADLS OneLake, Power BI, Power Automate/Logic Apps, Entra ID, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning the Microsoft stack end-to-end for the pilot project
  • Implementing data ingestion solutions using Fabric Dataflows Gen2 or ADF
  • Partnering with AI Builder to expose curated datasets
  • Implementing row-level security, semantic models, and DAX measures
  • Building Power BI pages and configuring security & governance

Requirements:

  • Deep expertise in Azure (ADLS/OneLake, ADF/Fabric), Power BI (Dataflows, DAX, RLS, Incremental Refresh), Power Automate/Logic Apps, Entra ID, Key Vault, Azure Monitor
  • Strong data modeling and BI craft skills: star schemas, semantic layer design, DAX performance tuning
  • Hands-on integration skills: secure file drops, APIs, connectors, gateways (hybrid/on-prem)
  • Security & governance mindset: RBAC, secrets, tenant policies, audit logs; bonus for Purview data catalog, DLP, and row-level consent patterns
  • Comfortable collaborating with Python/dbt engineers; can read/write SQL; light familiarity with dbt a plus
  • Track record delivering enterprise Power Platform solutions (workflow, approvals, Dataverse/SharePoint) with measurable impact
