Job Title: Video Editor

As a video editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content for social media platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong editing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining communication with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Editing and producing video content for social media
  • Trimming, cutting, and arranging footage to ensure fluid transitions and high-quality sound effects
  • Performing color grading and correction to maintain brand visual style
  • Adding text overlays, captions, and subtitles for accessibility and engagement
  • Designing compelling thumbnails to encourage viewers to click and engage with the video content
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 3+ years of experience in video editing, particularly for YouTube or news/entertainment content
  • Strong understanding of video editing principles, including cutting, pacing, visual storytelling, and audio synchronization
  • Expertise in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, After Effects)
  • Proven creativity in storytelling and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining communication and collaboration within the team

Additional Requirements:

  • Fluency in Malayalam (spoken and written) is mandatory
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation is an added advantage
