Master Data Management Specialist

The role of a Master Data Management Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of master data across various business functions. This includes managing and maintaining high-quality master data within SAP HANA, extending new material codes, and performing material master change activities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Extends new material codes in various depots with HSN Code, Shipping point, planned price, standard cost for various materials in depots/plant across the country.
  • Maintains master data for Material Master Data.
  • Handles SAP MDO Tool used to create new code VERP, ROH , HAWA codes for better data quality.
  • Works on Service now ticketing tool and MDO Tools and Workflow Testing for Material Creation , extension and Change.
  • Performs Material Master Change activity, Material Availability check in system, Material Stock Checking and stock transfer.
  • Transfers material by MIGO.
  • Trains end users about Material Activities like creation, change, Extension.
  • Provides production data to create masters data, BOM, Routing, and WorkCentre through BDC Report.
  • Works as per tasks and role assigned; understands business exigency and supports business by working for extended hours.
  • Prepares various MDM MIS and DASHBOARD on daily/weekly basis.
  • Adheres to the timeline as per defined SLA for respective activities.
  • Requires SAP ECC/HANA experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, candidates should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Experience with SAP ECC/HANA is essential.
