The Offer

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Director to join our team at Snaphunt. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely submission of financial reports and tax payments.

The Job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly closing, quarterly closing, and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee tax payments and submissions, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Manage the submission of required information for assessments, service tax audits, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to audit queries from statutory auditors, internal auditors, and pre-auditors.
  • Develop and submit annual business plans for review and approval by management.
  • Ensure timely payments to vendors based on cash-flow position and issuance of letters of credit.
  • Maintain accurate cash flow, asset depreciation, and bank reconciliation statements.
  • Manage accounts receivables with third-party customers.
  • Functional Expertise:
  • Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements with variance analysis.
  • Submit financial statements, standalone and consolidated, on a quarterly basis.
  • Capitalize fixed assets in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Ensure direct and indirect tax compliance until assessment completion.
  • Monitor bill payable, capex, and openX.
  • Ensure timely payments to vendors, monitor letters of credit, and cash flow management.
  • Manage statutory audits, IFC audits, internal audits, risk management audits, service tax audits, transfer pricing audits, income tax audits, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, prepare and adhere to business plans and budgets.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal financial controls within the organization.
  • Responsible for overall insurance at the port.
  • Maintain and update the assets register.
  • Liaise with statutory bodies.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and management skills.

The Profile

  • You are a qualified chartered accountant.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a finance manager role.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data.
  • You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments.
  • You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience.
