Strategic Transactions Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Transactions Specialist to lead end-to-end M&A transactions, providing strategic advice to clients and executing deals with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Leadership: Lead the origination, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing of M&A transactions.
  • Client Advisory: Provide expert guidance to clients on potential M&A opportunities, corporate restructuring, divestitures, and capital raising.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial modelling and valuation analysis, including DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.
  • Deal Structuring: Design deal structures that meet client objectives while maximizing value.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, banks, legal advisors, and other third-party advisors.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry developments to identify new opportunities for clients.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on financial analysis, client presentations, and deal execution.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (legal, tax, and regulatory) to ensure seamless transaction execution.

Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA in Finance or related field.
  • Experience: 8-12 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or private equity raises, with a strong track record of deal advisory experience.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of M&A transactions, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Experience working in investment banking, M&A advisory, or private equity raises is highly desirable, particularly those with a strong track record of deal advisory experience.
