We are seeking a skilled Senior Process Development Engineer to join our team in the development and optimization of flow chemistry and batch processes for scale-up and commercial manufacturing.

  • Develop and optimize flow chemistry and batch processes for scale-up and commercial manufacturing by utilizing process design tools and calculations (heat/mass transfer, reaction engineering, hydraulics).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (process chemists, mechanical, instrumentation, and analytical teams) to ensure robust process design and compliance with GMP, regulatory guidelines, and EHS standards.
Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent) and 5-7 years of experience in process design engineering within the pharmaceutical/chemical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of process design tools and calculations (heat/mass transfer, reaction engineering, hydraulics), including proficiency in simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, ChemCAD, or equivalent).
  • Experience in preparing and interpreting Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

Candidates should have strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. Knowledge of process safety (HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA) is desirable but not required.
