Key Responsibilities:
  • Data cleansing and processing to facilitate actuarial analysis
  • Assisting on-shore stakeholders and actuaries in performing actuarial pricing analysis, including experience rating and exposure rating for comprehensive loss modeling
  • Estimating reinsurance pricing and determining optimal reinsurance strategies
  • Preparing and providing reports and decks for performed analyses
  • Contributing to industry studies and benchmarking activities to promote Gallagher Re as a thought leader in the reinsurance marketplace
  • Developing innovative concepts, tools, or automating current processes
About You:
  • Graduate or post-graduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Commerce
  • Student member of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) or the Institute of Actuaries – UK (IFoA)
  • 3-6 actuarial exams cleared, with a zeal for pursuing further qualification
  • Professional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python, R, and Power BI is an added advantage
