Job Summary:

About this role:

  • Evaluate the performance of our Elasticsearch and Splunk clusters to identify developing problems, plan changes for upcoming high-load events, apply security fixes, test and perform incremental upgrades, and extend and improve our monitoring and alert infrastructure.

Responsibilities Include:

Maintaining other parts of the data pipeline, which may involve serverless or server-based systems for feeding data into the Elasticsearch pipeline. Testing new types of hosts or configurations is an ongoing focus to optimize cost-vs-performance.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Administration and management of Elasticsearch clusters, strong knowledge in provisioning and configuration management tools, experience with automations and infrastructure as code, and expertise in monitoring and logging tools. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline is required, along with experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
