This Senior Financial Operations Manager role is responsible for leading the cost accounting processes in the Finance GBS, working closely with business, operations, procurement, supply chain and other accounting teams.

Effective communication and stakeholder management with senior management levels within the Global Teva organization is crucial in this role.

The Senior Financial Operations Manager will mentor a team of professional accountants by guiding, supporting and motivating team members.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Financial close of multiple entities - drive book close efforts, improve close processes and reduce time to close books
  • Manage all Costing & Inventory related Accounting activities including inventory accounting policies and memos and write offs, their reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage, guide & mentor a team size of 8-10 members
  • Fully responsible for the initial transition of processes in cost accounting activities into the Global Business Services
  • Standardize and streamline cost accounting booking and recon process with clear methodology across all sites and BU's
  • Understand and ensure adherence with applicable financial policies and guidelines
  • Be fully accountable for all the cost accounting activities - plan, report, monitor and analyze

Requirements

  • CMA/MBA Finance
  • Minimum 10 years of complex Cost accounting experience; out of which at least 3 years as a people manager
  • Strong knowledge of US-GAAP and SOX
  • IT Literacy - SAP, Oracle or any other ERP, Microsoft Office
  • Lean & Six Sigma experience preferred
  • Well versed with latest trends, technology & best practices in the industry
  • Experience in fast-paced multinational matrix organization
  • Strong change management, communication and influencing skills
  • Fluent verbal and written communication in English

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary depending on individual circumstances.
