We are seeking a seasoned Analog Design Lead to spearhead our analog/mixed signal design team in the development of innovative silicon IP solutions for the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of analog/mixed signal silicon designers, with a strong focus on circuit design schedule planning, work breakdown, design tasks assignments, progress tracking, prioritization, and team members performance review.
  • Work closely with project/IP directors, cross-functional leads, system architects, SOC designers, and physical designers to ensure quality and timely deliverables meeting schedule and technical requirements.
  • Contribute to the definition of analog circuit architecture for various AMS blocks, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; PhD preferred.
  • 16+ years of professional experience in analog/mixed signal silicon IP design and development, with a proven track record of successfully leading small to medium size teams.
  • Strong fundamentals and knowledge of mixed signal circuit architecture and design techniques for IO receiver/transmitter analog-front-end (AFE) and PLL/DLL/clocking circuits.
  • Hands-on design experience in high-speed serial and/or parallel PHY/IO designs, with direct experience in FinFET nodes such as 16/14/10/7/5/3nm nodes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to operate without direct supervision but also work cross-functionally and collaboratively.
  • Strong initiative and ownership, with a proactive approach to seeking help and sharing knowledge.
Critical Technical Skills:
  • Cadence schematic capture/virtuoso, Spectre/HSPICE/other circuit simulation tools, AMS EDA industry-standard tools, and best-in-class design practices/methodologies for analog/mixed signal design.
  • Experience in high-speed custom digital and low power design techniques, knowledge of semi-digital circuit architecture, and expertise in AMS design flows and methodologies.
