Wireless Network Administrator

About the Role:

The L2 Network Administrator oversees and supports the Cisco Meraki Network infrastructure, ensuring security, high availability, and compliance. This includes Meraki AP, Meraki Switch, and Meraki Firewall.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot Meraki network devices (MX, MR, MS) daily
  • Support and maintain Wi-Fi connectivity for users across locations
  • Manage switch ports, VLAN assignments, and basic network changes
  • Coordinate with senior engineers for escalations and configuration changes
  • Maintain documentation of network setups and issue resolutions
  • Provide user support for network-related issues

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Wired and Wireless Networking
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki Dashboard
  • Basic understanding of Wi-Fi troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Layer 2 concepts - VLANs, trunk/access ports, port security
  • Ability to follow SOPs and coordinate with L3 teams when needed
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Malayalam language is mandatory

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in network administration
