API Optimisation and Integration Specialist

This role involves delivering seamless API integrations with new and existing partners. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end integration processes, collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous optimisation and ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement robust API integration strategies for key clients and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration processes across all phases.
  • Define, document, and communicate integration requirements effectively.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  • Provide post-integration support, including troubleshooting and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in delivering API integrations in the travel technology sector.
  • Strong technical expertise in API-based systems and REST/JSON/XML protocols.
  • Solid grasp of project management principles and proficiency with tools like Jira or ClickUp.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous integrations and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with additional languages a strong plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying highly organised and self-motivated.

This role requires occasional business travel for partner visits or events. You will be part of a dynamic team that empowers online travel agencies and government organisations with real-time travel solutions through seamless API integrations.
