Staff Product Engineer

Role Overview:As a Staff Engineer in the Industrial & Medical Sensors team, you will develop MR-based Position sensors, support team capability building, and lead technical troubleshooting. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, validate, and optimize sensor products for global markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with sales, product management, and system architects to translate customer requirements into technical specifications.
- Lead technical discussions with customers and ensure sensor performance optimization.
- Design and validate Position xMR encoders, focusing on electrical hardware, magnetics, and ASIC integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams.
- Conduct simulations, prototype testing, and product validation for manufacturing readiness.
- Manage design reviews, project execution, and risk mitigation.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in designing Position sensors and Mixed Signal ASICs.
- Expertise in sensor technology (AMR, GMR, TMR, Hall Effect), EMC, Hazloc, and global product standards.
- Proven experience in managing global, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel (up to 25%).
- Master's/PhD in a technical discipline or MBA.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or DFSS certification.
- Knowledge of ISO and Functional Safety standards.
