Senior Technical Project Manager Job Description

The Senior Technical Project Manager will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project plans with client approval as necessary.
  • Establish communication channels with clients and internal management/project teams for all Symphony Implementation projects.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify requirements and arrive at solutions or seek assistance from management to meet project timelines.
  • Lead implementations from start to finish and provide support to clients post-go-live.
  • Prepare change requests wherever applicable and strive for additional revenue opportunities that benefit the client.
  • Deliver client requirements and expectations within agreed project timelines and ensure all objectives captured in the SOW are achieved with exceptional quality.
  • Ensure supporting teams such as PE, Support, Annuities, Rules, and Paralegal teams are utilized as per the agreement.
  • Engage/contribute to at least 3 process improvement initiatives that enable project delivery and seamless client support.
  • Limit functional bugs to a set percentage for every implementation into Production.
  • Communicate with clients and management upfront about any mismatch in terms of client requirements impacting the project schedule.
  • Provide relevant data for project status and progress whenever management requests it.
  • Train self and team members on the Implementation process and client data validation.
  • Have hands-on experience in Project Management using tools and activities like project estimation, planning, costing, team timesheet maintenance, preparing proposals, RFP, etc.
  • Have a good understanding of design & solution processes, which is an added advantage.
  • Have hands-on experience in handling fixed-price projects and restricting scope creep and resource wastage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
