Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and collaborating with Fund Accounting teams to document functional and technical requirements for system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements to ensure accurate system enhancements.
  • Understand hedge fund accounting workflows, including NAV calculation, trade capture, cash/position reconciliations, performance fees, and investor allocations.
  • Collaborate with Fund Accounting teams to document functional and technical requirements for system improvements.
  • Work with technology teams to enhance fund accounting platforms, such as Advent Geneva, Investran, Eagle, Calypso, or proprietary systems.
Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of hedge fund accounting concepts: NAV, accruals, P&L attribution, fee structures (management & incentive/performance), side pockets, share classes.
  • Experience with fund administration systems (Geneva, Investran, Advent, or equivalent).
  • Business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process modeling, UAT, documentation.
  • Understanding of financial instruments: equities, fixed income, derivatives (swaps, options, futures, FX).
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools for data analysis.
  • Effective stakeholder communication skills.
