Job Description

Certification and certification testing are crucial aspects of the Payment Card Industry, ensuring secure financial transactions. Cubic is seeking an expert to oversee this process, specializing in debit/credit card acceptance and transaction processing.

The ideal candidate will have experience with certification activities, including EMVCo and brand certifications for contactless NFC readers. They will work independently, providing technical expertise on complex software engineering assignments, and ensure timely project execution and coordination.

This role requires proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C/C++, and C#, as well as experience with product lifecycle management, graphics development, and integrated development environments (IDEs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Runs multiple certification projects simultaneously
  • Sustains effective communication with analysts/project coordinators from acquirers/banks
  • Performs EMV test transactions with test cards from different brands and card simulators
  • Defines test schedules and requirements
  • Tests software and documents results
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years of experience or a master's degree with at least three years of related experience
  • Four-year college degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other related technical discipline
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C/C++, and C#
  • Experience with product lifecycle management, graphics development, and IDEs

The successful candidate will be able to analyze and solve complex software engineering problems, prioritize work, and complete tasks under deadline and budget guidelines. This position requires minimal supervision and direction, allowing the individual to exercise discretionary decision-making authority.
