Job Title: Mechanical Millwork Designer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical millwork designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating detailed designs and plans for custom millwork projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing architectural drawings and specifications, understanding client needs, and using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models.

• Designing mechanical millwork projects, including casework, cabinetry, and other custom woodwork
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop detailed and accurate mechanical millwork designs
• Creating 3D models and generating 2D drawings using CAD software
• Conducting site visits to take measurements and gather information needed for design development
• Preparing material and hardware selection and producing accurate bills of materials
• Optimizing designs for functionality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to project requirements
• Creating production documents, including shop drawings, fabrication plans, and installation instructions

• AutoCAD expertise and ability to work on architectural and furniture drawings
• Hands-on experience in panel optimization and production process management
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, ERP tools, and 2020 Design Software for furniture design
