Job Title: Senior Java Spring Developer

Job Description:
This role takes the lead in providing complex application development services, typically as part of a project team or in an application support role. You will analyze, design, code, test and implement systematic solutions to meet customer requirements that adhere to Highmark IT standards and policies. You will also provide general support to maintain applications that meet service levels, system availability, performance and quality levels required by customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Takes a lead role for analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing complex application enhancements.
  • Utilizes and participates in the full system development life cycle, per current Highmark SDLC standards.
  • Collaborates with customers, business analysts, partners, and IT team members to understand business requirements.
  • Provides technical support, including release implementations, on-call and 24x7 supports when necessary.

Requirements:
  • Candidate with 7 + yrs of experience in Java/Spring development.
  • Exposure to Microservices architecture with REST API.
  • Hands on experience in devops tools like Git, Gradle is must.
  • Performed design to deployment of a micro services application.
  • Knowledge on Cloud is added advantage.
  • Handled NFR (Non Functional Requirements) development.
