As a skilled data engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and operating data warehouses and platforms. Our team works closely together using agile development methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs.Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Python programming
  • Proven track record as a data engineer or experience working on data engineering projects/platforms
  • Working experience with data pipelines & methodologies, SQL and various databases like PostgreSQL
  • Good knowledge and experience in distributed computing frameworks like Spark
  • Experience with source code management systems like GIT
  • Ability to tune databases and SQL queries to meet performance objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering or equivalent technical background and experience
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with cloud providers like AWS, containerization and container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes
  • Working experience with data warehouses and ETL tools
  • Ability to debug sophisticated issues across various ETL platforms and databases
  • Experience with DevOps and tools like Jenkins and Ansible
  • Experience with small- to mid-sized software development projects and Agile Scrum
