As the leader of financial operations, you will oversee a team driving strategic planning, finance controllership, and investor relations. You will be a key member of the leadership team, promoting financial discipline, compliance, and business scalability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows.
  • Guarantee timely and accurate month-end/year-end closing and reporting.
  • Strengthen internal financial controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the implementation of robust accounting practices and ERP systems.
  • Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.

You will also lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, growth plans, and capital allocation. Drive initiatives to improve profitability, unit economics, and return on investment (ROI). Oversee daily finance operations including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll. Ensure tax compliance and regulatory adherence. Review and approve all financial processes, reconciliations, and vendor payments. Support equity and debt fundraising efforts. Build investor confidence through transparent and timely reporting. Lead financial due diligence, board reporting, and investor communication. Additionally, you will lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance and accounts team.

Requirements
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in finance controllership and compliance.
  • Proven experience in high-growth start-ups, construction, real estate, or tech industries.
  • Solid understanding of Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Ind-AS, tax laws, and audit practices.
  • Hands-on experience with ERPs, Management Information Systems (MIS), and business finance tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
