Data Scientist

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to specialize in the pharmaceutical domain. This individual will work with longitudinal/transactional patient-level data (APLD) to derive actionable insights, applying advanced analytical techniques to understand trends, patterns, and anomalies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Science and Machine Learning with experience in Dataiku, a fully hosted SaaS AI platform. They will develop custom applications on the Dataiku platform to address complex data challenges, working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dataiku Expertise: Utilize Dataiku to automate data preparation, pipeline development, statistical analysis, and model creation.
- APLD Experience: Work with longitudinal/transactional patient-level data (APLD) to derive actionable insights within the pharmaceutical domain.
- Data Modeling & Analysis: Develop predictive models, perform statistical analysis, and create machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of data strategies with business objectives.
- Reporting: Present findings and insights to stakeholders using data visualization tools and platforms.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 4-5 years of experience in Data Science, with a strong focus on machine learning, statistical analysis, and data engineering.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Dataiku, including hands-on experience in building data pipelines, automating workflows, and developing machine learning models.
- Strong understanding of longitudinal/transactional patient-level data (APLD) within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and big data technologies.
- Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in life sciences services companies (e.g., GE Healthcare, IQVIA, WNS, Accenture, Indegene, etc.) with exposure to patient-level data.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
