  • Oversees day-to-day operations of the physiotherapy department.

  • Recruits, mentors, and evaluates faculty and staff performance.
  • Prepares budgets, manages resources, and ensures infrastructure adequacy.
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensures adherence to accreditation standards.
  • Maintains accurate records of academic, clinical, and administrative activities.
  • Facilitates audits, inspections, and approvals from governing bodies.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Fosters collaboration with healthcare institutions and professional organizations.
  • Organizes workshops, conferences, and learning events.
  • Engages with parents, students, and alumni to strengthen institutional reputation.

Key qualifications include a Master's degree in Physiotherapy or Ph.D. in Physiotherapy, with a specialization in Orthopedics, Neurology, or Cardio-respiratory. At least 15 years of teaching/clinical experience, including 5 years in a Professor/Head role, is required.
