Job Opportunity:

Lead Statistician Position

This is a senior-level role that involves leading teams of statisticians and biostatisticians in various projects.

  • Serve as a technical leader providing oversight to junior staff members, ensuring adherence to best practices in statistical methodology.
  • Consult with cross-functional teams on statistical methods to ensure sound methodologies are adopted across the organization.
  • Develop complex statistical solutions to support research projects, staying up-to-date with advances in medical and statistical literature.
  • Oversee the development of study analysis plans and statistical programs, implementing data analyses and results reporting.
  • Advise on methodological advances to improve statistical methodologies both internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD degree in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in biostatistics or a related field, or 1 year of experience with a PhD.
  • Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R, with expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

About This Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of statistical methods and applications in clinical research, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
  • A proven track record of methodological statistical research, including publication and presentation of work in statistical methods development, is highly desirable.
