We are seeking a seasoned security professional to lead comprehensive security audits, compliance initiatives, and risk assessments across applications, infrastructure, and organizational processes. This role ensures systems, applications, and operations are secure, compliant, and aligned with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough technical assessments and security checklists required by clients in the BFSI sector.
  • Analyse and complete cloud security and compliance questionnaires for clients.
  • Map customer security and regulatory requirements to internal controls, ensuring seamless alignment.
  • Develop documentation and templates for assessment artifacts, streamlining the process for clients.
  • Manage security questionnaires from clients, vendors, and partners, fostering effective collaboration.
  • Evaluate vendor security and compliance by reviewing their responses and supporting documentation, providing valuable insights.
  • Identify potential security risks within IT infrastructure, applications, and services, recommending proactive measures.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2, or other relevant frameworks, ensuring best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, driving a culture of excellence.
  • Develop internal security policies and procedures related to vendor assessments and third-party risk management, enhancing overall security posture.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports summarising findings from security assessments and risk analysis, providing actionable recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation.
  • 5+ years of experience in audit/compliance, application security, AWS cloud security, preferably in the BFSI domain, showcasing expertise.
  • Strong exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure and security features, ensuring effective implementation.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and threat modelling, providing a solid understanding.
  • Experience with VRA templates, cloud security checklists, and assessment responses for enterprise or regulated clients, highlighting practical skills.
  • Strong understanding of data protection and encryption methodologies, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex security configurations and policies in clear terms, facilitating effective communication.
