Role: Senior Chemist

This position requires a Postgraduate degree in a relevant field with Chemistry as a compulsory/core subject. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of R&D experience in a chemical lab, preferably in hydrometallurgy, battery recycling, mining, or carbon materials industries.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute R&D tasks correctly the first time.
• Perform battery material recycling R&D according to current company strategy, product specifications, and laboratory processes.
• Support team leader to process development in laboratory, pilot facility, and 3rd party's lab to identify the most efficient process technology.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and lab protocols.
• Escalate issues/observations/non-conformance to supervisor as per applicable procedures/policies.

Requirements:

• Technical expertise related to inorganic chemistry.
• Strong research and documentation skills.
• Ability to grasp processes and lab practices to execute R&D tasks independently.
